For NEW riders!
Are you excited to start mountain biking, but nervous or lacking confidence? Not sure which brakes to apply, when to shift, or just when to use that dropper? Or has someone told you to descend with your booty touching your rear tire and, well, that doesn't sound right but you're not sure why? Then this series is for you!
In this 4 week series, we will go over basic bike safety checks, air pressure, and foundational skills like body positioning, braking and shifting, climbing and descending, and making obstacles into features. Typically each session will begin with a skill session before moving onto the less intimidating trails on S Mountain.
While attendance at all 3 sessions is not required, it is strongly recommended, as each week will build on the previous session.
